Nadia Afroze received a Master of Science (M.Sc.) and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) from American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) in 2014 and 2010 respectively. She joined AIUB as a Lecturer in the Department of EEE & Computer Engineering (CoE) on 9th January, 2013. She served as an Assistant professor in the same department at AIUB from 1st June, 2017 to 6th September, 2018. Nadia is now with the Department of EEE in Optics & Photonics Research Group at University of Nottingham (UoN) as a PhD student. She has received Faculty of Engineering Research Excellence PhD Scholarship from UoN for pursuing her PhD. Her research topic is-titled as "Optical Fibre Sensors for Healthcare". She is currently working on the project is-titled as "Monitoring of CO2 emitted from human skin during loading by using an optical fibre sensor".
